Description
Craftsmanship
Forging: The blacksmith heats the selected steel to a high temperature to make it plastic, and then repeatedly strikes it. By continuously folding and forging, impurities in the steel are removed, making the internal structure of the steel denser and more uniform, increasing the strength and toughness of the blade, and giving the blade a unique texture.
Quenching: Heat the forged blade to a specific temperature, quickly place it in a cooling liquid to cool, change the structure of the steel, and obtain the required hardness. However, quenching can generate internal stress, which can easily lead to tool brittleness.
Tempering: Heat the quenched blade again to a lower temperature and maintain it for a period of time, then slowly cool it down to eliminate internal stress, improve tool toughness, and enable the tool to withstand certain impacts and bending without easily breaking while being sharp.
Grinding: Use grinding stones of different mesh sizes to grind the blade from coarse to fine, removing surface unevenness and burrs, making the blade smooth as a mirror, achieving optimal sharpness and uniformity of the blade, and improving cutting performance.
exterior design
Blade shape: The oxtail battle sword has a blade shape resembling a oxtail, gradually widening from the base to the tip, with a smooth curved edge. This design allows the knife to better utilize its weight and inertia during chopping, increasing the cutting force effect, and providing flexible swinging and turning in close combat.
Performance characteristics
Strong chopping ability: The curved blade and gradually widening blade design of the oxtail war knife enable it to gather greater strength during chopping. Combined with the good toughness and strength given by manual forging techniques, it can easily split through the opponent’s defense and has strong killing power on the battlefield.
High flexibility: The relatively light weight and reasonable center of gravity distribution make the oxtail sword very flexible when wielded, allowing it to quickly change direction and angle, adapt to various combat scenarios, and enable users to respond more freely to enemy attacks.
